DANA IMPACT
Funds
for
young changemakers
Dana Impact is a platform for Malaysian youth who want to carry out social impact projects in their community. Every six (6) months, youth will be given an opportunity to pitch for a micro grant of up to RM5,000 to enable them to create social impact within their own community.

Dana impact
We welcome applications
from youth of diverse backgrounds and society, especially:
- Sabahan and Sarawakian youths
- Orang Asli
- Lower income or B40 income segment
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- Young ex-convicts and juvenile school leavers
Projects
Your project can be with the list of categories below, but not limited to:
- Health and wellness
- Access to clean water and energy
- Urban township and sustainable communities
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- Climate action
- Poverty
- Environment
- Education
- Gender equality
- Human rights
- Youth political participation
- Other development issues
Projects
Your project should be:
- Created and led by youths, between the ages of 18 and 35
- Self-started. The idea to better your community, must come from you
- Solving a social problem
- To run for at least three (3) months
- Be at local communities, to save travel time and costs
- Inclusive and consultative to local communities and stakeholders
- Following SOPs determined by the National Safety Council (MKN), to manage COVID-19
- Recruit and involve your project team members to help you run your project
Dana Impact applications are open to:
- Non-governmental organization (NGO), nonprofit organizations (NPO), societies, sports clubs, uniformed bodies or educational institutions.
- Individuals in a group, at least three (3) people.

Here are the people who are not eligible
to apply for Dana Impact:
- Individuals and organizations who did not match the specific eligibility criteria listed above.
- For profit organizations, partnerships, research foundations, or charitable foundations, statutory bodies.
- Illegal organizations (for example, but not limited to: criminal organizations).
