as participants will be given the opportunity to be a part of Impact Youth - our network of youth changemakers and volunteers. Impact Youth members will be exposed to opportunities on capacity-building and networking, for them to be able to create social change in local communities nationwide.

Takeover workshops will focus on systems practice analysis and project ideation. Youths will be abie to ideate programs that address root social problems after the Takeover Workshop.

There will be a pitching session after the workshop, in which the winning project will be funded and piloted using Dana Impact. The winning team will be doing the project as a local Impact Youth chapter.

Components of Takeover
component 01
Bonfire Talks
Youths talk about real and relevant issues to them, such as unemployment, education, etc. In this segment, youth can discuss their issues in a systemic manner, facilitated by Impact Malaysia in a relaxed approach. At the end of the session, we are looking at the youths to identify the root causes of the issues discussed.
Component 02
Workshop
Modules shared in Takeover workshops will serve the following objectives:
- Systems change: identify social problems in a systemic manner
- Project ideation
- Theory of Change
- Identifying and measuring the change brought by the project ideas
component 03
Demo Session
The participants of the workshop will get to pitch their ideas to Impact Malaysia, after learning to develop their ideas in a proper documentation or deck. Demo session is where participants present ideas and indirectly develop their presentation skills. One project will be chosen as the winning project, and will be funded by Dana Impact.

Local Impact Youth Chapter
Workshop alumni will be given a chance to form a local Impact Youth club, or chapter.
The winning project will be the flagship social project by the local Impact Youth chapter. Execution of the project will be monitored by Impact Malaysia.

How To host A Takeover?

- Assign a person in charge to coordinate
- Get 30 - 80 people to attend the Takeover
- Provide us a comfortable venue for the people you invited, with appropriate audio visual facilities

- We’ll provide modules for 2 - 48 hours of engagement
- Refreshment for the attendees
- End-to-end facilitation through the Takeover session
- E-Certificates for all attendees.
